Watercolor and Mixed Media
(WMM)
- Lezlie Lenz
Learn the basics of composition,
color, texture, and drawing
while creating paintings with
watercolor. Emphasis is on types
of strokes and washes achieved
with different paint brushes. We
will work with fun exercises
that get your creative juices
flowing using lots of different
media including water-soluble
crayons, pencils, and metallic.
Cutouts, stencils, textures,
carvings, and rubber stamps will
be used with a variety of
papers.

Realistic
Watercolor (RW) – David Dallison

location, clicking your camera, while

this right now'? This class will build your
confidence to capture the magical beauty of
the great outdoors through plein-air
painting. Feel the light, the energy, and
the ambiance and learn how to translate
these elements into a great painting.
Whether you are a highly accomplished or a
beginner painter, you can take your skills
to the next level. You will learn bold and
decisive methods for painting in watercolor.
And, you will learn how to develop a
portable system that will allow you to paint
anywhere, anytime. We will work on location
when possible and as much as possible. If we
have inclement weather, then we will work in
class from still life.
